BOY KANIN Celebrates its 5th Year

2018 marks the 5th anniversary of Boy Kanin

This is a momentous occasion for us because it only meant our efforts have paid off in the past years! Boy Kanin is the brainchild of Antonio Z. Atienza and Boy Kanin CEO and President of MB Flavored Rice Corporation, Ronald Allan Callao. Boy Kanin is a growing Filipino food business managed by MB Flavored Rice Corporation.

5th anniversary of Boy Kanin
Wala akong nakikita na pure Pinoy na food cart. May mga restaurants, pero ‘yung food carts, karamihan Chinese foods. That’s how I got the idea na why not try to pull a Pinoy food concept? So we thought of venturing into kanin because 99% of Filipinos eat rice,” said Mr. Callao.

Boy Kanin started out as a food stall that serves paella rice meals with your favourite Filipino dish. Boy Kanin is every Juan’s companion for low-budget on-the-go rice meals. It specializes on budget rice in a box meal sets of well-loved popular Filipino dishes like Beef Pares, Adobo, Teriyaki and all-day breakfast favorites like Tapsilog, Tocilog, Longsilog and Liemposilog. For those who need to grab a bite or satiate their merienda cravings, Boy Kanin had also introduced Pinoy Burrito—a bread wrap with your choice of rice and filling. Recent additions to the menu include sinfully delicious Sisig, Chicken BBQ and even Crispy Pata, initially available at selected dine-in Boy Kanin outlets.

For a fast paced society and in the last five years of our existence, Boy Kanin’s goal is to meet and satisfy the ever hungry and hardworking Pinoy katropa during breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner time with its quick yet healthy and yummy made-upon-order-meals.
Boy Kanin takes pride in serving your favorite Filipino fare at affordable prices and delivers such with the quality of a mid-range restaurant.

Bigger and Better
We’ve gained a lot of things in the last five years, with the company benefiting greatly from the number of inquiries for starting a business franchise.
We’re also happy to announce that we have expanded the range of the products we offer.
Thanks to an increased number of franchisers and due to having a greater demand for our services, we have also recruited additional office and warehouse staff. We are looking forward to expanding and opening more branches in the next couple of years.

Proud to be Pinoy
Boy Kanin is delighted to be able to call ourselves a truly Pinoy food cart (and now also dine-in) business. Boy Kanin is fast becoming recognized as the go-to eatery for most Filipinos because of our budget-friendly quality meals a.k.a. kaninderya. Most of us have fond memories of food from childhood. Whether it was our Lola’s great adobo or mom’s caldereta, food has a way of transporting us back to the past. When Boy Kanin was conceptualized, the owner, Mr. Ronald Allan Callao has envisioned Boy Kanin not just to feed hungry tummies but also to remind us why we always turn to our homegrown cuisine.
We’re happy to continue to attract more people who want to sample the goodness of home-cooked filling meals without necessarily burning holes on their pockets.

Marking the Day!
Boy Kanin now offers customers the opportunity to discover the vast spectrum of food available in dine-in outlets, inspiring a new generation of food lovers as they introduce innovative mouth-watering foods.
Being available in high traffic areas was a fantastic experience—people were keen to try our made-to-order takeaway foods. It has led directly to a number of new customers coming through our doors, which has certainly made it worthwhile for us.

Our advocacy

In celebration of Boy Kanin’s 5th year anniversary, Boy Kanin recently awarded a Boy Kanin Franchise worth Php300,000 to the grand champion of this year’s Ronda Pilipinas, an annual professional cycling national competition. The son of former cycling champ, Mr. Ronald Callao is also a sportsman and an active cycling enthusiast that’s why it comes as no surprise that Boy Kanin has been supporting Ronda Pilipinas. There’s even a Boy Kanin-Starken Cycling Club in which Mr. Callao is the founder.

Boy Kanin invites you be one of their growing family!
